Faculty of Mechanical Engineering

 

Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (W-10) initially was a branch of the Mechanical-Electrotechnical Faculty, it was integrated with the establishment of Wrocław University of Science and Technology in 1945. It started its activity as one of the first four faculties and Professor Kazimierz Idaszewski was its head. For a few years it has been one of the best faculties in Poland in the field of mechanical engineering. Students who speak a foreign language have an opportunity to pursue part of their studies abroad. In Wrocław students of the Machine Design and Operation may choose to study in English both for the Bachelor and Master degree, and the students of Production Management and Engineering for their Master diploma.


The graduates of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering are engineers mechanics with comprehensive education, they are equipped with the knowledge of sciences, technology, mechanics, computer sciences and industrial activity management.The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering holds the highest category according to The Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
